Day 1Arrival | Cairo

Arrive at Cairo International Airport, Your Egypt Tours will assist you throughout airport procedures and transfer you to your hotel in Cairo.
 

Day 2Giza Pyramids, Sakkara, and Memphis

After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy an exciting day of sightseeing as you journey to Memphis, the capital of ancient Egypt. Along the way, you will visit the Step Pyramid at Saqqara, one of the oldest pyramids built in Egypt. 

After your tour of Memphis and Saqqara, visit the historic Giza Plateau and witness the Great Pyramids of Giza. Marvel at one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World which has stood proudly against the tests of time. You will have the option to enter the chambers of the pyramids (at an additional cost). 

At the end of your tour, return to your hotel in Cairo for a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 3Dahshur

After breakfast, journey to Dahshur and visit the uniquely constructed Bent and Red Pyramids. These fascinating pyramids are built unlike any other found in Egypt. Your personal Egyptologist will familiarize you with the pyramids and their finer details before returning to Cairo.

Day 4Alexandria (Qaitbay Citadel - Ancient Lighthouse)

Enjoy a free day in Egypt’s lively capital or partake in an optional day tour of the city of Alexandria. 

(Optional Tour: Alexandria) Travel to Alexandria in a private air-conditioned vehicle and explore Egypt’s second capital. Visit Qaitbay Citadel which was built in the 15th century over the location of the Alexandria Lighthouse. Along the way, you will explore the world-renowned Alexandria Library and its extensive collection of literature from around the globe. 

Afterward, explore the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, one of the Seven Wonders of the Medieval World. This fascinating multi-level burial chamber is richly decorated with carvings that meld Roman and Egyptian art styles beautifully. 

Please Note: The Library of Alexandria is closed on Fridays and Saturdays.

Day 5Departure | Cairo

After breakfast at your hotel, check-out and transfer to Cairo International Airport for your return flight home.
