Day 1Arrival | Cairo

Arrive at Cairo International Airport, where our Your Egypt Tours representative will meet and assist you. We will assist you with airport procedures like passport control and baggage claims. Transfer to your hotel in Cairo via a private air-conditioned vehicle for check-in.

Day 2Giza | Pyramids, Sphinx, and Saqqara

After breakfast, journey to the famous Giza Plateau and experience the rich history of ancient Egypt. Your first stop will be at the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the remaining Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Marvel at these stunning monuments that have stood proudly for thousands of years. Following your guided tour of the pyramids, you will be able to partake in optional activities to enhance your experience at an additional cost. 

Optional Activities: 

• Roam the pyramid area on camelback
• Explore the inner chambers of the pyramids. 

Following your visit to the Pyramids of Giza, you will make your way to the mysterious Sphinx that stands guard nearby. Stand before this ancient monument and enjoy a picture-perfect panoramic view of the pyramids and Sphinx. Afterward, enter the Valley Temple and discover the secrets of mummifications. 

After your tour of the Giza Plateau, dive to Memphis and Saqqara, one of the most exciting archeological areas across Egypt. Your first stop here will be the Step Pyramid, one of the world’s oldest stone structures. Afterward, explore the Necropolis of Saqqara in the company of your personal Egyptologist guide.  

Transfer from Saqqara to Memphis, the first capital of the Ancient Kingdom of Lower and Upper Egypt. Your private guide will lead you across this ancient capital and introduce you to its finer sites. Amongst these sites is the fascinating Alabaster Sphinx and the remaining two colossal statues of Ramses II.

At the end of your tour, return to Cairo for a relaxing overnight stay. 

Along the way, you will have the chance to visit the Papyrus Institute. You will see how this famous artwork is made and even be able to purchase genuine items. Alternatively, you may partake in an optional night activity before returning to your hotel.

Day 3Cairo | Egyptian Museum, Old Cairo, and Khan el-Khalili

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and prepare for an exciting guided tour of Cairo. Your first stop will be at the famous Egyptian Museum which houses over 160,000 Egyptian artifacts. Your personal tour guide will introduce you to the highlights of the museum, including the priceless treasures of King Tutankhamun. Afterward, you will have free time to explore the museum at your own leisure. 

Continuing your tour of Cairo, you will visit Abu Serga, where the Holy Family sought refuge from King Herod. Afterward, you will visit Ben Ezra, one of the oldest synagogues in Cairo. Your personal Egyptologist will provide you a rich history of these locations and Coptic Christian culture. Along the way you will discover the magnificent Citadel of Saladin where the Alabaster Mosque stands. 

Your final stop for the day will be at the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Explore the lively market and browse the large assortment of wares sold by local vendors and artisans. Search for a perfect souvenir of your trip to Egypt, or choose to unwind at the famous coffee shop El Fishawy. At the end of your tour return to your hotel in Cairo for a relaxing evening. Alternatively, you may choose to partake in our optional Cairo night activities.

Day 4Departure | Cairo

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight.
